(Back with a new one. Backstory Time! I figured I'd leave this here and then go a little into an origin for the character. I hope u guys have been doing well. Enjoy!)

Reina had driven to one of her son's favorite places. Zeke was happily playing with the fire ferret plush she had bought for him, distracted with him. "Mommy! Mommy! Look at dis!" Zeke said, trying to do a flip by throwing Pabu in the car.

"Z-Zeke! We don't throw things in the car." Reina had said to him. "Why nots?" Zeke asked, "It gets us in trouble." Reina said, trying to make sure she doesn't get distracted while she's on the road.

"Now you promise you'll be nice to the other kids?" She asked. "Pwomise, Mommy." Zeke said, happily.

(Later)

Reina had watched Zeke eat his gummy fruits almost viciously. She took him to his favorite place at the moment. She had her treatments to focus on, but no one was going to be around to watch Zeke or care for him.

Reina decided she would leave her son with her friend, while she had gotten her treatments "Sweetie, calm down." She said, "Now…honey, when I drop you off with Martha, you need to promise you'll be on your best behavior." Reina asked her son, "'Kay, Mommy. Where Mommy going?" He asked, innocently.

"Mommy has to go to the doctor, sweetie. She's…sick, a little. But Zeke…I will be back for you as soon as my treatments can help me." Leola explained to her son.

"Okay. Mommy will be back, wight?" Zeke asked. "I will try, sweetie." Reina was tempted to tell him there was a chance she couldn't come back. But she hoped Martha…or someone at the shelter would take care of him.

If Martha wasn't at the shelter, she added a note to make sure they understood why Zeke would be at their doorstep.

Why would God let this happen? She always wondered. She smiled at her baby, "Zeezee?" She said, and the baby blue rabbit looked up. "Promise me you'll be a good boy?" Reina asked. "Okay, Mommy. I'mma be da best good boy!" Zeke said, passionately and excitedly.

Reina had smiled, but she felt her throat tightening.

She could only think about how weak she was. She wasn't strong enough to take care of Zeke and it wouldn't help if she kept fainting or she kept getting sick for work.

She remembered one time Zeke nearly saw what happened.

(Flashback)

Martha was over, discussing when they would head to the zoo.

"I'm not sure, Mar. I've already been missing a few shifts, and I need to get back to work soon." She said to Martha. "You haven't been going to work? Why?" Martha asked her friend.

"Oh, I've just been…not feeling too well." Reina said. The deer girl looked confused, "Girl, tell me you didn't invite and I got your pathogens…" Martha said, already getting up. "Martha…"

"No! No. I'm not gettin' sick tonight, 'Eina." Martha started walking up and she saw Zeke playing with a toy.

"Martha, let me ex—" Reina began to say and she felt woozy.

"Ex-what? Exhale your—'Eina? R-Reina?" Martha shouted to her, but she saw the rabbit was unconscious. "Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!" Martha panicked and picked up her friend.

"M-Momma…?" Zeke asked, completely unsure of what was happening. "I-It's okay, baby. Your mommy's okay." Martha tried to stay cheerful when she spoke to the baby.

Martha picked up Zeke and put him in his crib. "Now, I'mma call my friends to help put your momma in the bed, okay?" Martha said to the baby.

"Okay!" Zeke was unsure, but the grown up wouldn't lie, because good boys don't lie. That's what Mommy says.

(End of flashback)

That wasn't the first time Reina had passed out, either. Martha was lucky enough to be there. "Mommy?" Zeke asked, trying to get her attention.

"O-Oh…sorry, Zeezee. What is it?" She asked. Zeke was pointing at her necklace of The Cross. "Oh, this is something that reminds me of Abba." Reina explained, "Abba!" Zeke said, excitedly, while still not having an understanding of God, he still understood that Abba made his Mommy happy, so he was happy.

"Yes, sweetie. Did you know Abba is another word for "Daddy"?" Reina said, she chose not to be too technical for her son. "Abba Daddy?" Zeke asked, curiously. "Yeah, Abba is your Daddy. Although…you DO have a daddy on Earth." Reina explained. Zeke looked confused, "I'm not sure who he was, Zeezee." Reina knew there were times she may have been drinking, but…she wasn't going to disclose or think of anything like that. "My Daddy on Urr?" Zeke asked, curiously.

"I'm not sure if you'll see him now, Zeezee." She said.

(More later)

She walked and carried Zeke fast asleep in a basket. She had left a note for Martha or whoever would take care of Zeke in the homeless shelter.

Reina watched as the baby rabbit slept peacefully and clung to his toy.

Reina could feel her tears coming in. She didn't want to separate from him, but she had to make sure she had to live for his sake.

Even if he hated her in the future, he'd still be her son. She'd still love her and would be happy as long as he was loved.

So many possibilities will come from this, and she could feel her tears coming down more and more.

"Sweetheart…please be a good boy for me. God…I'm asking you to never let him go." Reina said to both her son and her Father in Heaven. Reina took off her necklace and left it wrapped around her son's necklace.

She went to her bus stop, before looking back at her Zeezee myriad times.

"I'm so sorry, Zeezee…" she said, once again a myriad times.

(Later)

Zeke woke up from his nap and held Pabu closely. "Mommy?" Zeke asked and looked for his mommy.

The baby blue rabbit looked around the streets and saw the homeless shelter.

He then looked and saw some awesome colors on a nearby wall.

Pretty colors of blue and yellow. It was a flower, he wondered if it was a real flower.

He walked up to it and saw more and more stuff in the pretty colors. He giggled and ran through the alleyway.

He made his way closer and closer to stuff he could see, going through small gap to make his way near the underside of a highway.

He gasped in awe of the stuff. "Awesome! Pwetty colors!" Zeke ran out to look at all the colored paintings, until he ran into someone.

He noticed a tall grown up in white. "Sowwy!"

The wolf-in-white had picked himself up and noticed a child had tripped him up. He just smiled, "U-Uh, it's okay, sport." He said, mustering up the kindness in his voice.

Wolf looked at the small toddler, and scratched his snout. He felt something was off of him…LITERALLY.

His fake mustache had fallen off of him and he was anxiously looking for it.

"Here!" The baby rabbit said, when he looked back at him. He saw he was giving him the strands of his disguise back.

"O-Oh, thanks." Wolf said. "Hold on…You aren't afraid of me?" He asked, realizing the baby wasn't running away or crying on sight.

The baby shook his head, and looked confused as to why the baby would ask that question.

Wolf looked around and saw that the kid's parents were nowhere in sight. "Hey, buddy. Can ya tell me where your parents are?" He asked.

Zeke then tried to look around for the way back, where Mommy dropped him off. Wolf noticed the letter on his back and tried to read it.

"Hmm…" Wolf didn't know what to do. He was a lot of things right now, but he wasn't gonna turn his back on a baby.

Zeke looked back at the grown up wolf man, "Oh yeah!" Wolf smiled and snapped his fingers. "Names. I'm Wolf, kiddo. Wanna tell me yours?" Wolf asked.

"Z-Ze…Zeke!" Zeke said, cheerfully. "Zeke…A great name for a big boy like you!" Wolf said, "What're you doing out here with your little pal?" Wolf asked, patting the little ferret plush.

Zeke simply pointed to all the colors around him. "Oh…ya like the graffiti, huh? Hahahaha." Wolf said, chuckling softly. Zeke then looked on as if he were studying the wolf man.

The grownup laughed, almost like how Mommy would. "Anyways, looks like I'll be taking care of ya from now on, kiddo." Wolf said.

Zeke was wondering if Mommy's friend had changed her plans. But this man seemed very nice. A lot like Mommy. "Mister…?" Zeke was wondering if he had found him.

"Hm?" Wolf asked. "You my Daddy?" Zeke asked. Wolf took a moment to think about what the boy asked, indicating that he doesn't know who his dad was. Wolf looked at the boy, and he saw that smile.

This baby wasn't afraid of him, and he asked if he was his dad…it made him feel…wanted. Wolf smiled gently. "Yeah, I'm your Daddy." Wolf said, picking him up and patting his back.

Zeke had hugged as tight as he could. "Mommy say I no see you. But found you, Daddy!" Zeke said, excitedly.

Wolf had chuckled. "Yeah. I hope Mommy was doing good, taking care of you all by herself." Wolf said. "Uh-huh! But Mommy sick, so she had to go doc's." Zeke explained. "Aww, I'm sorry, Zeke." Wolf said, walking off.

He realized that this baby's mother was somewhere out there. He wondered if he'll find her for his son.

(Years later)

Reina had been back in her hospital room. Martha had made sure her fees could be covered a little, Reina didn't know how to feel.

Her Zeezee was missing all those years ago, and even though Martha put together search parties, they couldn't find him.

All that, but what was more appalling to her was a dream she had years ago.

Someone familiar had told her that he was safe and well. "It was You…wasn't it?" Reina asked, knowing the familiar presence of Him.

Reina walked and grabbed the remote for her tv. It was then that she noticed the notorious criminals—The Bad Guys—were being arrested after a failed heist.

But what she wasn't expecting was something she could see hidden in the group of criminals.

Reina's jaw had dropped when she saw the familiar bright blue furry ears. "Z…Zeezee?!" Reina asked.

She had watched as the camera zoomed in. Her baby…her baby was alive!

(Okay, I think we're done for now! I hope you guys liked it! I wanted to continue to write the stuff with Zeke's mom, because I didn't want her to be a loose plot thread to the character. I'll be honest, I was a little worried about how to write when she left Zeke and when Wolf found him. But I hope it's okay, here.

Also, to schweenieboy, I wanted to say ur idea of Zeke having a love interest with the Bad Girls is a fun idea! I'm definitely going to make something like that. Anyways, for Reina's voice. I think Kazumi Evans—who plays Sarai—in The Dragon Prince works as a voice. If I didn't mention it, Martha would sound like Keke Palmer from Nope. Anyways, stay strong and awesome!)

1 Corinthians 3:1-3: KJV:

1.And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. 2. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. 3. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
