Thought of this on the fly at work.
Bell Cranel believed he was many things. A hopeless romantic, an aspiring hero, and a headstrong kid were a few that he could count on.
But there were even more things he was not.
Wise in his decisions was one of them.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!"
GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Running through the hallways of a cavern, Bell looked back in fear as he continued to ask himself the same question over and over again.
"WHY IS THERE A MINOTAUR ON THE FIFTH FLOOR!?"
Chasing the boy with pure bloodlust was, in fact, a Minotaur. Its jaw slackened as it roared angrily, closing in with each second.
As Bell ran, he couldn't help but think about how this was partly his fault. He knew his advisors specifically warned him not to go to the lower floors until he was more experienced, but he was feeling confident. Fighting small fry wouldn't make him a true hero; after all, he needed to fulfill his grandfather's wishes:
To pick up girls in a dungeon.
Unfortunately, his adventuring days might be cut short since when he arrived on the fifth floor, an unwelcome surprise had greeted him.
Feeling himself become tired, Bell came to a fork in the road. Not knowing which way to go, he let up the chance and went right, narrowly dodging a ram attack from the Minotaur. Thinking he was getting lucky, Bell made a full sprint through the hallway, hopefully making it to the exit.
"Ah!?"
Only to hit a dead end.
GRRAOOOOOOR!
Turning around, letting out a squeak, Bell watched as the Minotaur sprinted to him with the full intent of piercing him with its horns. Going off instinct, Bell squatted and curled in a ball, making the Minotaur miss hitting the wall. Looking up, he watched as the monster, which now stood over him, snarled, grinding its horns against the wall. Bell screamed in fear as it looked down and growled at him, drooling excessively.
Backing away, the Minotaur raised its fist and let out a mighty roar once again. Bell's eyes widened as he felt his legs lock up in fear.
This was it.
He was gonna die in his first week as an Adventurer.
He failed his grandfather, and he failed his Goddess.
As the fist of the beast swung down, Bell could only think one final thought as he closed his eyes.
'I COULDN'T EVEN PICK UP GIRLS YET!'
.
.
.
There was a sound of something hitting flesh, yet Bell felt no pain. Slowly opening his eyes, the boy realized that he wasn't hit at all. Matter of fact, he noticed that something was different about the whole situation as well.
Mainly, the fact that he was now looking at the back of someone's feet.
Moving his gaze up, he saw the only thing that separated him and the Minotaur was a man-no, he was a teenager. Maybe a little older than him. The teen had spiked blonde hair that made Bell think of the sun. He wore a bandanna and his clothes were strange, consisting of oranges and blacks.
He stood tall as the Minotaur struggled to release its fist from the strange teen's grip.
Bell's eyes widened with wonder as he watched in awe and nervousness.
The teen growled, finally speaking, "Hey, cow guy." His grip on the monster's fist tightened, making said monster roar in pain as a sickening crack could be heard, "Why don't ya pick on someone your own size?"
Raising his free hand, the teen opened his palm. Within seconds, something began to swirl in his palm. Soon, the swirl took a more prevalent shape as the sound of wind cutting through the air echoed through the halls. Now in the blonde's hand was a blue sphere of swirling energy. The beauty of the sphere hypnotized the younger male.
Reeling his hand back, the blonde finally let go of the Minotaur's fist only to grab its horn. Pulling it closer, he thrust his hand forward, leaving an image imprinted into Bell's mind as he screamed-
"RASENGAN!"
The sound of the wind was now replaced by the sound of flesh being ripped apart as the ball of energy ground against the Minotaur's midsection. The mighty beast screamed one last time before it was flung back through the hallway, bouncing off the floor and sliding to a halt, motionless.
Bell didn't know his eyes could have widened anymore than they already were, yet this proved him wrong.
"Huh, that was it?" The young man mumbled in disappointment, " Eh, I thought I held back more than that..." He scratched his chin before turning around, now facing towards Bell, "Guess Rasengan was a bit of overkill."
Bell, now seeing his savior's face, noticed several things. The older male had blue eyes, and his face had strange whisker-like marks on his cheeks. There was also the metal plating on his headband with a swirling symbol carved into it.
"Uh, yo." The stranger waved, getting Bell's attention, "I'm kinda lost, so if you could help me out, it would be appreciated."
Now, there were many things Bell wanted to do in this situation.
He wanted to cry.
He wanted to thank his savior a million times over.
He wanted to fanboy out.
... He did none of those things.
"IYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
In a flash, the boy ran down the hallway in a panic, screaming the whole way. He was so zeroed in that he didn't even notice the two other people he passed down the hall.
The blonde stared at the boy in mild shock before he realized what happened, "Ah shit, WAIT UP!" He started to run after the rabbit-like boy, "What kinda reaction is that I only asked for some help-dattebayo!" He continued to give chase, ignoring the two people as well, "That's no way to treat someone who just helped you out!"
One of the two people, a werewolf who had recently entered the area, stared at the two before speaking.
"What the fuck?"
Oraio.
Home to the Dungeon.
Home of the many Familia.
Home to the gods who descend upon to mortal realm.
And also home to Eina Tulle, and an advisor to a few adventurers diving into the dungeon.
Speaking of adventurers...
"What were you even doing on the fifth floor!? I specifically told you not to go lower than you were ready for!"
Glaring at her newest adventurer, Bell Cranel, she watched as the short teen squirmed as the half-elf tore into him.
Not only was Bell a newbie with gear that only limited him to the first and maybe second floor, but he had been attacked by a Minotaur.
A Minotaur!
Bell looked down in shame as he spoke, "S-sorry, miss Eina... I just was so excited I thought I could handle to lower floors."
Eina looked at the boy with a furrow in her brow before sighing and palming her cheek, "What am I going to do with you, Bell?" She then glanced elsewhere, "And you."
She looked at the blonde boy who saved Bell. He sat beside the boy, laxed before noticing he was being acknowledged, "...eh? Me?" He pointed to himself with a confused expression.
"Yes, you." Eina went into professional mode, "While I do thank you for saving Bell, you are an unregistered adventurer in the dungeon, so I will have to write this incident in my reports."
The blonde boy paled at the mention of a report, "I'm not in trouble, am I? Cause I don't know how I even got in the place!"
Eina nodded, understanding the teen's worry, "Yes, I understand, and it isn't uncommon for people to be found in the dungeon or even the city; however, you are not only unregistered as an adventurer, but you also don't seem to be part of any familia."
The word 'Familia' made the young man tilt his head as if a question mark might've been seen on his head, "... What the heck is a Famila? Some kind of jutsu?"
The word jutsu and the lack of knowledge on what a Famila is made the situation more confusing for the two residents.
"...We'll get into that later." Eina took out some papers and began writing, "So... may I get a name from our mysterious stranger?"
Without skipping a beat, the blonde gave a foxy smile before pointing to himself, "Right, I'm-"

The Goddess Freya knew her nature very well.
If someone had caught her interest, she wanted them, and she would have them. Simple as that. It has been that way for as long as she remembered.
Some factors would be at play, but it usually always came down to one thing.
The soul.
Freya had a special ability, even among her kind, to be able to see the soul of a person. No matter what they looked like or what they were, if their soul enticed her, she would have them.
Recently, she found a new person who piqued her interest—a young boy with a clear soul.
A clear soul.
Usually, souls shine with colors, maybe even multiple, but this one didn't have any.
A clear soul that she wanted to see change, for her.
But with recent revelations, she found that he wasn't the only one who would fall under her interest.
A young man with a straw hat had entered her sight. He looked about average, but definitely wasn't a regular human if the scar on his chest said anything about it. He also wore strange clothes, like the ones those who lived by the sea would wear.
But that wasn't all that caught her attention.
His soul was... something entirely new.
It was a golden yellow shining like the sun, but it didn't keep its form like other souls would. It bounced, stretched, and danced around with freedom unlike any other. And the way it bounced was similar to a beat.
Dut dadada.
Dut dadada.
Dut dadada.
It was impossible, yet here it was. One thing was certain for the Goddess.
She needed him.
Badly.
Feeling herself tremble at the thought of the young man pleasing her in a rhythm of his soul made her quiver with anticipation. She needed to see more. She needed to-
"Syr! Quit dilly-dallying and get back to work!"
The sound of a strong, boisterous woman brought 'Syr' out of her thoughts. Shaking her head, she smiled at her boss, "Sorry, Mama Mia, I'll get right on it."
Syr. The alias Freya took in this form to scout for potential lovers working under the guise of a waitress at the Hostess of Fertility. A pub owned by the one and only Mia Grand.
The female Dwarf grinned at the girl as she continued to cook, "Don't let it happen again, girly. After all, this is your customer who's eating us out of a home!"
'Ah yes... my customer.'
Now, despite everything she said prior, Syr couldn't help but be shocked by another thing about her potential lover.
"OI LADY! MORE PLEASE!"
He could eat.
The whole pub couldn't help but gawk as the young man with a straw hat ate their whole menu in less than five minutes. His stomach comically stretched out as he sagged in his seat, yet he was still asking for more.
"Nyah!? Is he even human?!"
"It's so unreal!"
"This is his third order, and he can still eat?"
Syr laughed as she listened to the shocked people. Walking up to the boy, she gave him a bright smile, "Are you sure? You look pretty full."
The boy looked at her with a quirked eyebrow, "Nah, this ain't nothing." Without wasting another second, he let out a burp, shrinking his stomach to its original size, "See! Now I can fit more."
.
.
.
"HUH!?"
All the patrons and the waitresses looked in shock at the sudden display. Even Syr stared with a slack jaw.
"Hahaha!" Mama Mia walked over to the boy with a large grin, "Well ain't you something brat! Never even had parties eat as much as you."
The young man smiled, "Thanks, old lady." Before scarfing down more food.
Mia grinned at her waitress with a sly expression, "You sure now how to find 'em, eh Syr?"
Syr looked away with a light blush on her face, "Mama Mia..."
Mama Mia chuckled at Syr's embarrassment before turning her attention back to the boy, "So, kid, can I get the name of my soon-to-be favorite customer?"
The boy grinned from ear to ear, letting out a laugh, "Shishishi~ the name's-"

Lilli the Pallum was getting robbed.
Again.
Recently, she was being ganged up on by members of her Familia. They threatened to do her harm if she didn't give up any of her loot in a shady alley, and as usual, anyone who did see her getting robbed decided to do nothing about it.
A typical day in Oraio.
Lilli looked at the three men- they had no special features that made them noticeable, but they all had the same crazed look as every other member of the Soma Familia had.
Greed.
"Come on, Lilli~ just give us some consolation and we'll never bother ya again." One of the men sneered.
Lilli knew this was a lie. They would always come back. They always did. She should just do the easy thing and give up her-
"-the hell?"
"GAH!"
The sound of something heavy landing on something stupid echoed through the alley, drawing everyone's attention to the middle.
Landing on the lead male was a man in a strange robe with orange hair and an extremely handsome face; Lilli had to take note of that.
Though the main thing that drew everyone's attention was the oversized sword on his back.
"What the hell did Hats n Clogs do?" The man rubbed his back. "What broke my fall?" Looking down at the man saw who he landed on. He also noticed the situation he was in.
"...Uh... oops."
The other two men sputtered, "Shit! He took out Lenard."
"You see that sword? Let's get out of here!" The two would-be robbers ran away in fear. Both Lilli and the man looked at the two blankly before sighing.
The man stood up, finally making Lilli realize how tall this man truly was. It wasn't a surprise since Pallums are usually short, but they would usually come to someone's waist. She only stood tall enough to look at his wonderful abs.
"Oi."
Looking up, Lilli saw the man staring down at her with a charming smile. Usually, she wouldn't be this smitten by anyone, especially someone she just met, but she couldn't deny it.
The guy was hot.
"Hey," The man spoke once again, "Could you tell me where I am?"
The question confused Lilli. How did the man not know where he was? "You're on Fillen street, right by the Soma Familia," Lilli answered him curtly.
Her answer seemed to confuse the man even more, "Familia? What city is this?"
Lilli looked at him like he was an idiot. How does he not know what city he is in? "You're in Oraio."
Her answer still confused him, but there was a bit of panic now, "... You wouldn't happen to know how far that is from Japan, would you?"
"...Japan?" It seems that he answered any questions he had.
"Ah dammit!" The man growled, "What the hell did ya do, Urahara!?"
Lilli didn't even know how to respond, "Uh..."
Calming down, the man looked at Lilli, "Sorry about that, I just... never mind." He groaned before a scowl rested on his face, not remembering he was still on top of a man, "My bad if I seemed rude. Names-"
Kurosaki Ichigo
The power dynamic shifted.
The world forever changed.
For the first time in all of history-
The dungeon was afraid.
Might be a one-shot or might have a couple of chapters. Don't expect much from this story- at least not for now.
If anyone wants to adopt this if I don't decide to make this a full-fledged story, just hit me up.
Anyway, I'll see you guys later.
Be safe, love you all.
PEACE!
