Since I won't be using Beastborg in the future, I will also buff a lot of Barrett's current cards. Spent a lot making sure I got the duel right. Making mistakes especially moving forward will caue a big pain. For dialogue, it is easy. For duels it could make me start over. I also question how in Serena's backstory she alludes that 3 years ago the Invasion of Xyz will occur soon and she wanted to join. But going by flashbacks of the Xyz Invasion, they happened clearly not that long ago from the start of Arc-V. I assume that was a goof from the producers or I am reading it wrong. So for this story, Leo instead opts to wait 3 more years to gradually build his army in order to quickly overwhelm Xyz and says Serena is not ready to be formally trained. I also will show a bit of what my character felt during the Xyz Dimension Invasion since while he wants to keep attachments to a minimum, he is still human and the effects have been getting to him. As per usual I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! and all other references as they belong to their original owners.

They are wearing some kind of green cloak and wield staffs that lead to a circle top. Plus and minus symbols are included to represent their names.

"Wait Serena. You may duel me next, but really I want is for us to talk. I know a lot. I even know 3 individuals from Xyz that I can provide."
"You know of them?" asks Serena as she stops and faces him
"Sure, but let me ask you. You came here from your own free will rather than by Leo right? You are the type who seems she likes to make her own decisions."
"Leo Akaba has nothing to do with this! So yes I came here of my own free will! I was locked up for as long as I remember. Three years ago I tried to escape and was helped by someone. It was to no avail. Whereas my teamates got to be on the frontlines, I was suffocating. So I trained and snuck out once again. I heard what happened to Sora and came here. But if you stopped Yu..."
Christopher notes her hesitancy on mentioning Yuri
"Stopped Yuri from whatever mission he had, why are you seemingly willing to provide information to me? Are you a lone actor?"
"It's because Academia is in the way of my goal. But first let me show you something."
Christopher activates his duel disk and displays his contacts revealing Yuzu, Ruri and Rin.
"These girls look like you. They were meant to be kidnaped except for Yuzu who was next on the list. As for why they look like you, there is a long story behind it. But to summarize, your a quarter of the Professor's deceased daughter. That's why he sees potential in you, but not for who you are, but to recreate his daughter."
"Y-your lying."
"But there is more. Yuri may be helping the Professor, but because of his origins, he will eventually be disposed of once his usefulness ends. It just makes sense to. In fact, three more boys exist who look like him. They are fragments of the one who destroyed the Original Dimension which the Professor is trying recreate. Here."
He now shows Yuya, Yuto and Yugo.
"So what if that is true?! I want to prove myself so where are those Xyz remnants?!"
"Come with me and I will take you to them."
"Make this quick as Academia will know you carded Barrett."
"Why?"
"To keep track of our population count, they can see who has been carded. We are a school of around 3000 individuals on the main island with under 2000 occupying the Xyz Dimenson and 1000 reserves on the smaller islands. Barrett is a Royal Fusion Purple member. Him losing implies a big threat and Academia will try to retrieve me and stop this threat. Which means they will use a lot of force."
"This is bad because that could mean they could mount a serious invasion and I don't think they were this big in the show. Most Standard duelists have very weak effect and Normal monsters. I do have a trap and quick-play spell to counter grunts, but not everyone does. Makes sense. But I will help you if they try to take you if you fail to complete your goal."
The pair walk towards the stadium. Reiji however is watching them on the cameras.

"Should I interfere?" asks Nakajima
"No. Because while I may not like his current actions, he is capable. I will question why he turned that man into a card."
"Understood. Also the cards he requested have been printed."

"Before I call them over, what do you know happened in the Xyz Dimension. Because I know you like your honour and I have some more information to share."
Christopher sends a message to Yuto, Ruri and Shun to come outside as a way to get Serena to not bail on him.
"My teammates went to the Xyz Dimension and performed spectacularly. While I was not allowed to be on the front-lines with them. And maybe I could have made things right with Yuri."
"The Xyz Dimension was peaceful place. I stayed their for a bit. Got to know the Xyz remnants. People smiled and it was almost perfect. Wouldn't surprise me if they had a consensus government. Until that day."

Antique Gear monsters can be seen roaming. Screams everywhere. Dead bodies crushed by all the rubble. Christopher only has one mission and that is to save Ruri, but he still has some time to save some lives.

Christopher holds the cat close and weeps. The cat begins to cough blood and Christopher lays it down gently. He spots a hammer and a big nail.

With a look of sorrow on his face, the cat would never have to suffer again. Christopher made sure of it so it wouldn't suffer like Olaf.

"Academia laughed while they attacked the Xyz people. It was a hunting game. I will not sugarcoat it."
"Whatever. Laughing as if it was a game? Academia duelists wouldn't do such silly things on the battlefield!"

"Ruri. I want to try something with our bracelets. Maybe an in-person example would also be helpful," says Christopher
"What d-do you mean?" asks Serena
Ruri and Christopher approach Serena and suddenly all three bracelets glow.
"Ray. Lend us your power once more to show the truth. Break into our memories and become one for a moment. Shun and Yuto. We may pass out so keep an eye on us."
A bright light occurs and Serena goes in state where she lives through their memories. Seeing everything.

"That is what the people in the Xyz Dimension said. Academia did not listen. I had to end the suffering of those who did not have the privilege of being turned into a card. So a wrap. My character cutting it close. As for his deck, he runs a rotating 40-60 cards build that he constantly changes around to fit the situation. Against Academia grunts, he would use a very aggro build that can attack multiple times to take them out quickly and in large numbers. While also excluding hand traps as they are bricks. For Commanders, he will moving forward opt a more control strategy because of the threat of Droll against his deck. Thus, forcing back and forth interactions. Serena also joins the team. Now for Academia, they may not be individually strong, but their sheer numbers can really overwhelm many. How they will be dealt with is to be seen since after all, that is a lot of duelists to take out in one go.
