It was midnight. The night was silent except for the crickets that chirped in the little overgrowth on the contestant grounds. Fireflies buzzed with a soft, green glow as frogs croaked out their call. A vending machine buzzed in the distance with it's favored beverages. Fluorescent lights peeped from out of the glass. A faint buzzing of a saw could be heard from below the machine, accompanied by the smell of gas from a torch that signified someone was still awake.

Two objects stood under a dim, yet well-lighted room hidded under the vending machine. One was a neon green, cylindrical object made of glass with goggles on their face to protect them from some sort of craft. The other was a red triangular fan-like object holding some what seems to be a knockoff phone, helping the other out (you would probably know who these are). The bright green object welded something together on a table, fixated a few things on it, then wiped their forehead. They nodded at the red object as they both lifted the item from the table onto a bed nearby. They then placed what seems to be a rectangular screen, welding the sides to anothe object lying on the bed. They plugged something into a computer and shortly after, screen from all around the bed started to turn on. Everything was visible in the bunker, including this one big rectangular screen, larger than the one on the bed. The large screen was located in one of the corners of the lab right next to a couple of boxes with a green stickynote plastered on the screen that read, 'Future Project, DON'T TOUCH' in fine, readeable handwriting. The green object then plugged something into the item and went back to the computer. Clicks were echoing across the room.

"Will it actually work?" The red object says while eyeing the thing on the bed.

"Hopefully it will..." The other replied, gaping at the white screen.

The two kept silent afterwards. the room continued to be filled with clicks of a computer.

"Do you think we have all the parts we need?" The red object asked again.

"Well hopefully we do. We pretty much just 'borrowed' the parts we needed from Meeple," The green one replied. "And plus, we rummaged in every room of the place including the CEO's office. Of course, we didn't need to worry about security because of... y'know..."

"Yeah," The red object replied. Then, the red one had something click in his mind. "Wait, did we get the backup C.P.C.s (conscious personality chip)?"

"Yeah... I think so. We made sure we got all the ones we needed and potentially wanted," The green object responded curtly.

"Did you get the red-pinkish-purpleish ones from the office in the secret compartment for... you know?" The red one questioned.

The red one walked away, checked the inside of a box of parts on a counter beside him, and nodded solemnly to the green one. They came back and stood beside the left side of the bed.

They both went silent for a while until a chime came from the object on the bed, causing the two to jolt. A red light from the screen lit the room with a bold red glow. Both objects that witnessed this were astounded. The 'item' (who was an object) got up and rubbed it's head.

"Ugh...where am I?"
